Installation couldn’t be easier, taking minutes using pre-mounted 3M professional adhesive tape (the exact same method used for the optional factory Tesla spoiler).

This piece is compatible with both the P and non-P Model 3.

The lift gate can be opened via standard boot lid button, touchscreen, the Tesla app and the optional Tesla Model 3 fob.

Closing can be done via included button on the inside of the boot lid, a hidden button in the driver side foot well, the Tesla app and the optional Tesla Model 3 fob.

The installation is almost fully reversible if required, but we’re sure this is a premium feature you won’t regret adding.

This kit contains everything you need to install the power lift gate and is fully compatible with our optional foot sensor for opening and closing.

Materials
The metal top is made from 3mm thick tempered, bead blasted and anodised 6061-T6 Aluminium – the same material as the plaques on the Pioneer 10 and 11 spacecrafts.
The mounting base including the protruding ridges is made from industrial grade chemically resistant high friction rubber to ensure your foot will never slip.

The wrap is self-adhesive, flexible and easy to mount, and will protect both your center console and dashboard from scratches, scrapes, finger prints and liquid damage.

If you for some reason would like to remove the wrap it uninstalls without leaving any residue.
